THE DEVONIAN PERIOD
As the earth was changing, the supercontinent known as Gondwana was moving north from the South Pole. A second supercontinent formed, strattling the equator. This supercontinent came to be known as Euramerica or Laurussia.
The Devonian period begins 416 million years ago. It ends at the start of the Carboniferous period 359 million years ago.
